1967: Jean Beliveau scored two goals against the Toronto Maple Leafs, during a 6-2 Canadiens' victory in Game Four of the Stanley Cup Finals. The two goals gave him 128 total playoff points and put him past Maurice Richard into second place behind Gordie Howe on the all-time playoff point list.
1971: Beliveau had three assists in a 6-1 Habs win against the Minnesota North Stars in Game Five of the Semi-Finals. “Le Gros Bill” set a career playoff record for most assists -- 92, one more than the previous record held by Gordie Howe.
1991: Shayne Corson scored twice, including the winner at 17:47 of overtime as the Canadiens won 3-2 against the Boston Bruins, in Game 6 of the Adams Division Finals.
1994: Patrick Roy passed Ken Dryden to become the Montreal Canadiens' All-Time leader in playoff games by a goaltender, when he appeared in his 113rd with Montreal, a 3-2 loss to the Boston Bruins in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Quarter-Finals.
