1960: Dickie Moore scored his 20th goal of the season in his 21st game (a 3-1 loss at Detroit) to equal an NHL record for fastest 20 goals in a season (set by former linemate Maurice Richard in 1944-45).

1988: Bobby Smith scored the 300th goal of his NHL career as the Canadiens lost 5-3 to the Nordiques.
